Baldwin Pocket Door Template

 

Below is information to help with the install
of Baldwin 8500 pocket door locks
all holes for wood screws should be pre-drilled

Install Mortise Case with 2 wood screws
Cut Door Per Template Above
For 1 3/8" door applications you may need to trim this piece slightly
test fit plates on door now
Slide on interior plate and screw mortise cylinder
into threads on box
(a blank key or key that does not work the lock will help)
screw in tight and then back up so key is straight up
Tighten slotted screw on egde of door
Do not use power tool or over-tighten
Install scalp on edge of door with 2 brass screws
Push on interior plate and tighten 4 wood screws
